For Driving and some Seafarers medicals you will need to have a vision assessment at an optician before seeing the GP for a medical.

Non NHS work must not be provided in the routine GP clinic time and will need to be arranged on an individual basis.

There is a fee of £150 for doing a non-NHS medical work such as these and is payable on the day of the appointment.
